Description

Upon arrival at the winery, they will be greeted by the winemaker who will conduct the tour with the visitors and answer all their questions! Tour available from Monday to Friday.

Itinerary

Day 1
Bodegas Carrau
Start time: 10:00 am or 2:00 pm, choose the time that suits you best!

  • Upon arrival at the winery, they will be greeted by the winemaker who will conduct the tour with the visitors and answer all their questions!
  • In a relaxed and harmonious atmosphere, they will get to know the experimental vineyard where they will learn a little more about our flagship strain, Tannat.
  • And that's just the beginning, as they will learn more about winemaking later as they enter the production, bottling and labeling area.
  • To end the tour, you will visit the place where the magic happens, the winery's historic wine cellar, built below ground level in 1887, where our barrels and natural sparkling wines made with the Champenoise method rest.
  • Then we will do the tasting of our wines in the tasting room of the Casona Antigua, where the tradition that characterizes us is reflected.
  • Duration: The duration of the complete tour is 2 hours

Notes

  1. Children visit the winery at no cost. For Children from 5 to 17 years old (includes snacks) price 20USD
  2. Operation: from Monday to Friday and for groups of 10 or more only on Saturdays at 10:00 AM
  3. Closing days: Thursday and Friday of Holy Week, May 1, July 18, August 25, December 24, 25 and 31 and January 1. Specific dates throughout the year that the tour does not operate.
  4. The guide handles the 4 languages, and depending on the number of people in the group and the different languages, sub-groups are formed to make it more enjoyable
  5. Unfortunately we do not have accessibility at the moment to make the tour in a wheelchair.
  6. We have Tax Free on the sale of wines.
  7. We do not serve alcohol to persons under 18 years of age.
