Puerto Blest and Los Cantaros Waterfall

• This tour begins from the hotel by means of a ground transfer that takes us to the Port.
• After boarding, navigation begins along the narrow and extensive Blest arm of Lake Nahuel Huapi where you can see a spectacular landscape surrounded by thick forests, imposing mountains and the transparent waters of ancient glaciers.
• The entrance to the Blest arm is guarded by the Sentinel Island, where the remains of the creator of The National Parks, Francisco Pascacio Moreno and the Capilla and Millaqueo hills rest.
• Minutes later when passing through the Twin Islands is the maximum depth of the lake of 464 meters. later the Playa de las Arañas and the Cascada Blanca
• After an hour of sailing we arrive at Puerto Cántaros located in Blest Bay in the heart of the mountain range, immersed in the Valdivian Forest, one of the rainiest places in the country (3000 mm of annual rainfall) that offers an evergreen jungle with trees of great size, like the coihue and the larch, alternating with a bushy floor where vines and vines are linked, all permanently covered by a humid atmosphere, which allows the development of herbs, mosses and fungi.
• In Puerto Blest you can visit the hostel, with its warm style and an interesting interpretation center for this area, located a few meters from the previous one.
• A few meters away is the Río Frías that empties into the lake, bringing a milky color that dyes this sector emerald green.
• There is the possibility of carrying out, from here, a second part of this wonderful walk that consists of traveling 3 kmts. By the only vehicular road that takes us to Puerto Alegre, on the banks of the spectacular Lake Frías, this lake, of an indescribable green color, can be navigated for 20 minutes to reach Puerto Frías where the PEREZ ROSALES international road that connects with the neighboring Chilean country. This option of navigating Lake Frías has an additional cost, but there is also the possibility of getting to know the Lake by taking a walk along the Frias river to the shores of this beautiful lake.
• Then you return to Puerto Blest, stop for lunch (the Hosteria has restaurant services).
• Then the walk continues sailing to the Los Cántaros Waterfall, which through a staircase leads us to know the wonderful falls and reach its highest point where the Cantaros Lagoon is located, which gives rise to the waterfall.
• After this last stage, you return to the boat to return to Puerto Pañuelo.
