Discover the promenade in almost its entire extension

Departure from Pocitos with a local guide. Excellent walk to appreciate the Ramblas of Montevideo, where the circulation is made in them throughout all the neighborhoods to see.

We start with the Pocitos neighborhood, with its impressive curtain of buildings that houses one of the largest concentrations of population in the city. We will travel the entire coast passing through the Pocitos, Buceo, Malvin, Punta Gorda neighborhoods and we will end in Carrasco, originally a summer neighborhood, today a quiet and residential neighborhood with its imposing buildings from the beginning of the last century together with our emblematic ex-Hotel Carrasco. You return to the place of departure or option to finish in Carrasco.

Itinerary

Day 1
Start of the Bicitour
  • Departure along the coastal boulevard passing by: Kibon - Naval Club (History about what is exhibited in the Club) - Yatch Club of Montevideo (History, Appreciation of sports boats. Mention of the different ports in Montevideo). Continuing along the Rambla to the Oceanographic Museum (History, Income if possible). Continue to the Rambla. Passage through the Buceo neighborhood - Concepción del Uruguay - until the beginning of the Malvín neighborhood, continuing to Punta Gorda, going up to the Plaza de la Armada. Neighborhood Tour: - Pocitos - Diving and Malvín Neighborhood with the history of these neighborhoods and Montevideo.
  • Punta Gorda (Virgilio Square - Parador - Monument in the square - Tour of its beauty in terms of the view from that height - history of the monument - Punta Gorda Nautical Club - Entrance through the interior of the neighborhoods: Punta Gorda and Carrasco for your internal route given the low risk of exposure to traffic in that area and the appreciation value of nature, trees and houses in said neighborhoods together with the work of the Hotel Carrasco, recently renovated, a monument of our country.
