Itinerary

Day 1
Marble Cathedrals
Tour start: 7:00 am
  • This excursion can leave from Perito Moreno at 7 am or 07:50 am from Los Antiguos.
  • You have to cross the border with Chile at 8 am when the pass opens. After completing the procedures at both borders (Argentina and Chile), we travel approximately 4 hours of travel on a very winding road on the shores of Lake General Carreras until we reach Puerto Tranquilo from where the small boats that make the Paseo Lacustre depart to the Marble Cathedrals , which lasts 2 hours in total.
  • At the end of it, there is time to have lunch and then start back along the same path.
  • To consider:
    Current passenger documentation (authorizations for minors).
    There are not many stops for toilets along the way as very small towns are crossed without service stations - the boat is open so they can get wet during the tour
    Due to border schedules there is not much time for extra stops other than necessary.
End of the tour: 7:00 pm
