Day 1
Full Day City Tour Santo Domingo
- Start time: 9:00 a.m.
- With you you will follow in the footsteps of Columbus to get to know the first European city in America up close. Santo Domingo's historic old town has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1990.
- On the city tour you will visit the "Alcázar de Colón" palace, the "Casas Reales" historical museum, the palace of the first governor and the first cathedral. Then you will go to the "Fortaleza Ozama", the oldest military building of European origin in America, and the "Parque Colón" with the bronze monument of Christopher Columbus.
- You will also walk along "Calle El Conde", the oldest shopping street in the old town, with its many shops and street vendors, as well as many restaurants, bars and souvenir shops.
- After lunch, you will learn about the origins of chocolate at the Kahkow Experience Holographic Theater.
- This tour is highly recommended for chocolate lovers who like to learn about growing organic products and don't want to miss out on making their own chocolate bars.
- You will also create your own cocoa butter based soap and give it a special touch by adding your favorite aroma.
- Your last stop is The Colonial Gate 4D movie theater.
