  • We start at 09:00 h., Our country has Mayan cities that had their heyday at different times, those of the classic Mayan period (200 to 900 AD) predominate in the north somewhat far from the current city of Guatemala, and those of the Post-classic period (900 to 1,524 AD) in the West, one of the emblematic sites is Iximché that belongs to the post-classic period, this place was the capital of the Maya Kaqchiquel manor, nowadays the visitor can appreciate the vestiges that remained after the destruction caused by the conquerors, this place was also the scene of the founding of the city of Guatemala.
