Day 1
Rides in nature
Tour start: 7:45 am
  • We will pick you up in the morning at your hotel and you will be taken directly to Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí , passing through the impressive Braulio Carrillo National Park , where you can admire the incredible vegetation of the virgin jungle.
  • Once we arrive at Puerto Viejo, we will take a beautiful boat ride on the Sarapiquí River . For about an hour and a half it will be a pleasant surprise for the diversity of flora and fauna especially found here.
  • You will be able to see crocodiles, toucans, sloths, monkeys and an infinite amount of birds. Upon arrival at the "Black Wood Reserve".
  • You will enjoy a one hour horseback ride through the rain forest where you will discover the beauty and wonders of this mysterious land.
  • After your jungle experience, there will be a delicious lunch waiting for you.
  • Later you can take a walk in our beautiful gardens where you can visit a frog pond, a butterfly garden and our collection of exotic snakes.
